So your heatings broken and you need to get it sorted …

How does it work?

The Citigas process is pretty simple really … but here’s a few notes to help you know what to expect:

Give us a call on 0115 877 0823 or complete our “Get a quote” form.
We make an appointment for one of our senior engineers to visit your home … or premises if it’s a tenanted/commercial property.
The engineer will take a look at your situation and talk through your options – gas boiler, oil boiler, biomass boiler, solar panels, new radiators, move radiators, re-position boiler, etc!
The engineer will take a careful note of your requirements and return to the office to prepare a detailed written quote for you.
The quote will be mailed or e-mailed to you – your quote will be valid for 14 days.
You can then review the quote and ask us any questions … it’s not a problem if you have a few!
We then ask for a formal acceptance of our quote … for your protection and ours.
Then we plan:

We check your diary
We check our diary
We purchase the items required – boiler, radiators, pipes, panels, invertors, etc
We schedule your works!

Then we’re ready to go!
We complete our works, clean up, request payment and finally ship out … leaving another satisfied customer!

Our engineers have completed OFTEC approved training in oil boiler servicing, installation and repair.

What happened to “Corgi registered”?

Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI as the gas registration body in Great Britain and Isle of Man on 1 April 2009 and Northern Ireland and Guernsey on 1 April 2010.

So, Gas Safe Register became the official list of gas engineers who are registered to work safely and legally on boilers, cookers, fires and all other gas appliances.

Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey, appointed by the relevant Health and Safety Authority for each area. By law all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register.
